I know, right? It’s a lot more than a Kei truck, though. Comes with a 2.5L diesel good for around 140/190 or a 2.4L gas motor with 160/166. That’s basically the same league as a 4-cylinder Taco/Frontier/Colorado. You could actually drive this thing around town in the US just fine, though I wouldn’t want to try any long highway trips. Also, 6-speed manual!

You see these trucks everywhere in South Korea - these are the workhorses that seem to keep everything going. You don’t see American pickups at all, the closest I’ve seen have been those weird Ssangyong ones.

One thing I hadn’t thought about is that these small pickups, even with 4WD, must be incredibly tail happy when they’re not carrying a significant payload.
